PANTHERS’ MONTHLY VARIETY SHOW WILL FEATURE TWO INCREDIBLE ARTISTS

Amanda Easton
She performs music from all eras but specialises in breathing new life and love into songs from the jazz and pop sirens of the 50 and 60s, which are her particular passion. She loves to share anecdotes about falling in and out of love and sends her audience on a wonderful trip down memory lane as well as having them in stitches about love gone wrong. You might have seen her perform as Dusty Springfield with Heroes from Heaven or as Barbra Streisand from The Hit Makers.

Her rich soaring vocals have also seen her perform for the who’s who of Australian corporations and twice at the ARIA awards. She’s appeared onstage as backing vocalist for some of our best loved musical legends including Glenn Shorrock, Powderfinger, Marcia Hines, James Reyne and Vanessa Amarosi and has been on tour with multi-platinum artists Richard Clapton and Wendy Matthews. She has released two self-penned albums, with two of her singles appearing in the top ten of the Independent Aussie charts and her music videos and live performances have graced television screens on The Kerri-Anne Show, Bert Newton, Denise Drysdale Show as well as ‘V’ and ‘MTV’. Amanda has also produced and hosted her own
13 episode TV Series showcasing female singers called ‘PopTarts’ for TVS in Sydney and Channel 31 in Melbourne.

Nick Bavarell

Nick is a Sydney Conservatorium graduate in classical and jazz studies. As a pianist, he has performed with The Australian Ballet and Sydney Theatre Company.
As Musical Director for many commercial recording sessions and corporate events, Nick has toured alongside artists and performers around the world. He has been a Musical Director for various acts from X-Factor. Nick has also worked with acts from The Voice Australia and ABC & SBS TV.

Internationally, Nick has toured with the likes of Barry Gibb (Bee Gees) and Patrizio Buanne (Italy) and is very active in the Sydney live music scene.
Nick is the Musical Director of this new international creation: Piaf & Aznavour – Back in Time; a show that allows him to bring back his passion for the accordion, the first instrument gifted to him as a child by his father.
