Helping Hands

Panthers staff proudly come together throughout the year to raise funds for a wide range of local causes. From charity events to in-house initiatives, every dollar raised helps support the community we call home. It’s just one of the ways our team gives back and makes a real difference where it matters most.

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood

Panthers team members proudly rolled up their sleeves to donate blood with Red Cross Lifeblood in 2024, making a real difference in the lives of others. With each donation helping to save up to three lives, our incredible staff helped save 66 lives—all through the power of giving back. It’s just one of the many ways Panthers support the community, one drop at a time.

And now, we’re calling on Panthers fans and members to join the cause as we take on our rivals in the ultimate community showdown — the Lifeblood “Blood Feud” with the Eels! Launched earlier this month, the challenge is on to see which club’s fan base can make the biggest impact through blood donations before we meet again on Sunday, 13 July 2025. You can read more about the campaign here: Panthers and Eels Launch Battle of the West Lifeblood Challenge | Official website of the Penrith Panthers.

As part of the campaign, Lifeblood visited the Penrith Leagues Club reception on Wednesday 11 June 2025. While they weren’t taking blood on the spot, they were there to answer questions, help register, and get participants booked in to donate at the Penrith Lifeblood Centre on York Road.

Want your donation to count for Panthers?
Register and booked in a time to donate at the Penrith Lifeblood Centre on York Road. Just tell the team at the donation centre you’re a Panthers fan — and they’ll link your account to Team Panthers!

Let’s show the Eels what true community spirit looks like — every drop counts!

STARS Dance for Cancer

In 2024, Panthers’ very own Karen Callaghan put on her dancing shoes for a great cause, taking part in STARS Dance for Cancer to raise funds for the Cancer Council. With flair, heart, and community spirit, Karen contributed $7,212 to an incredible $140,000 raised — showing that when Panthers staff step up, they do it with style and purpose!

The Biggest Morning Tea

Panthers staff proudly participate in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, raising vital funds for the Cancer Council. Each year, the team comes together to cook and create a delicious spread of sweet and savoury treats. In 2025, our Penrith team raised an incredible $1,060.50, supporting cancer research and care for those who need it most.

Christmas – Penrith Community Kitchen

Every year, Panthers chefs generously donate their time and skills to support the Penrith Community Kitchen by carving up Christmas hams for those in need. It’s a heartfelt tradition that brings joy to local families and reflects our commitment to giving back during the holiday season.

WestCare Packing

The Panthers Penrith Management Team rolled up their sleeves to help pack care bags for WestCare, supporting locals doing it tough. With plenty of heart and teamwork, our leaders came together to lend a hand and spread kindness—just one more way Panthers are proudly giving back to the community.

Jeans for Genes Day

Panthers staff proudly take part in Jeans for Genes Day each year, raising funds to support vital research for childhood genetic diseases. By wearing denim and donating, our team helps drive awareness and make a meaningful impact in the lives of Aussie kids and their families. Together, the team raised $904.
