Through Panthers ClubGRANT funding, a table for ten was provided, ensuring this brave family could celebrate surrounded by their loved ones without financial burden.

Gold Ball’s Annual Candle Service Honours All Cancer Fighters
The Unite candle service stands as one of Gold Ball’s most meaningful traditions. Each year, the MC guides the room through a powerful moment of recognition for childhood cancer and all cancers, regardless of age. This sacred time reminds us that we are all united in the fight against cancer.
During this moving ceremony, every guest receives a candle to illuminate, creating a sea of light that represents hope, remembrance, and solidarity. A minute silence is observed to honour:
- Those who have fought bravely against cancer
- Those who continue their courageous battle today
- Those who have lost their lives to this disease
This moment of unity transforms the celebration into something deeper – a community promise that no one fights alone.
