Coffee with a Cop sparks real conversation at Cafe Royce in Penrith

A cuppa, a chat, and a stronger community
Cafe Royce at Panthers Precint was full of friendly conversation as around 50 local residents and Panthers members came together for Coffee with a Cop, a relaxed community catch up with local NSW Police. The event was also attended by Panthers Chairman Peter Graham, reinforcing Panthers’ commitment to creating spaces where locals can connect, speak openly, and feel supported.

A simple idea that opened up genuine dialogue
Rather than a formal meeting, the event created space for everyday conversation. Residents spoke openly about what matters to them and officers took time to listen and respond.
“We had a good time speaking with the residents and of course listened to their concerns,” said Senior Constable Colin Mitchell.
