Coffee With A Cop | 14 May

Coffee with a Cop at Cafe Royce: A simple chat that can make a big difference

There’s something about sharing a coffee that makes conversation easier. On Thursday 14 May at 10am, Cafe Royce is hosting Coffee with a Cop, a relaxed community catch up designed to help locals connect with NSW Police in a friendly, welcoming setting.

Whether you’ve got a question, something on your mind, or you’d simply like to say hello, this is a chance to meet local officers, have a cuppa, and strengthen the relationships that help our community feel safer and more connected.

What is Coffee with a Cop?

Coffee with a Cop is a community engagement initiative led by NSW Police, inspired by the “We Are You” approach. It began in Fairfield around 2013 and has been held many times across the region.

The idea is simple: create an approachable space where community members can sit down with police for casual conversation. No formal presentations, no pressure, just an opportunity to connect and talk about local life.

Why we’re hosting it at Cafe Royce

Cafe Royce is all about community. It’s a place where locals can come together, slow down for a moment, and enjoy a good coffee. That makes it the perfect setting for Coffee with a Cop, because it keeps the tone relaxed and welcoming.

When we make space for respectful conversations, we help build understanding, trust, and stronger community connections. It’s a small moment in your day that can have a lasting impact.
