Panthers Variety Show ft Christian Guerrero and Davidia

Christian Guerrero was born and raised in Sydney Australia by his Latino Chilean parents. His passion for show business started at the early age of 5 when he would play as a child DJ with the family record collection. His first experience in showbiz started at the age of 10 where he began his connection with the stage as a folkloric Chilean dancer. He later developed his passion for live music when he joined the school brass band in 1986. He quickly went on to join his first Rock band as guitarist in 1987. It was whilst at school that he fell in love with Latin Music and wasn’t long before he joined his first working Latin band “Piña Colada” at the age of 16. He later joined his first professional band Sonora Galaxia in 1991 taking him to stages all over Australia and around Asia Pacific.

In 2001 Christian officially joins the Cabaret circuit performing hits from Ricky Martin in clubs all over Australia and the Pacific.  In 2004 Christian launches his brand new band: the Salsa Kingz®, with the aim of bringing Latin tropical music to Australia with a new direction of fusing Latin with Australian culture.

Although Christian’s performance style ranges from Jazz Standards to the latest Latin Pop tunes, his true passion still lies with the traditional Latin rhythms in the style of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Cha Cha & Boleros. By keeping Latin music alive, Christian hopes to inspire audiences from all walks of life to experience the energy that LIVE Latin music brings. Christian has become an ambassador for Latin music down under providing a platform for the next generation of artist and entertainers.

The Divalicious voice of Davidia

Divalicious: serves up style, with a side of attitude – covering beauty, fashion, girly and mostly, big personality.

Davidia’s spectacular voice takes her audience from Classical to Pop with the ease of a true professional.  Classically trained, she delivers beautiful Arias and nestles them comfortably with popular standards in German, French, Italian & Latin as well as English. Davidia’s great sense of comedy and ability to “read” her audience, ensure she is in demand and repeat bookings have become the norm.

Davidia has been nominated for many Awards and in 1996 won the coveted ‘MO’ Award.  She appeared with Maestro Tommy Tycho & his orchestra at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Committee Countdown Dinner along with Hugh Jackman and for Prime Minister John Howard at the Super Dome.  Davidia also had the great privilege of being invited to perform for the Princess Royal, HRH Princess Anne at the Art Gallery of NSW.

So if “Classical” is the order for your event, sit and be amazed at the vocal quality and range delivered with class and style.  Nessun Dorma and the breathtaking Aria from Yanni are just a couple.
