Watching the Sunday Roast yesterday, being the last show for the year, they made their predictions for 2009, so I though we could do the same.
Matty Johns predicted the Panthers to turn around and make the top 4 based on Coote, Graham and Iosefa being stars of the future and Vossy predicted MG would cry on a regular basis because he thinks the Panthers would have a terrible year. Get stuffed Vossy lol.

Movers: Dogs and Dragons (big signings) Panthers, Knights and Raiders (good juniors)

Losers: Storm and Broncos (heavy player loss) Roosters (just think they'll struggle mentally)

Premiers: Manly (back to back, champion team, the new benchmark)

Spoon: Tigers (Hodgson a massive loss, Benji will probably get hurt again)

Dally M: Brett Stewart

Origin: Blues to win 2-1.

Bellamy to quit as NSW coach to concentrate on keeping the Storm at the top. Fittler or Hasler as possible replacements. Jennings to debut and Orford to finally get the number 7 for NSW.

Headline: Eels sack coach Hagan, snag Daniel Anderson.

I think the Storm and Broncos will struggle also.

Broncos have a new coach and lost a few players.

Storm have been up for a while and have also lost key players.

Not predicting that either will be wooden spoon material but I believe they will come back to the field a bit.

Panthers to finish between 4-8. Tigers for the spoon. Cootey to absolutely kill it.

If Penrith keep the following players in this position all year (bar injuries) i think will should make the top 8 quite comfortably.

1. Coote 6. Graham 7. Sammut 9. Iosefa 13. Lewis

Qld 2-1

Dally M = Brett Stewart

Rookie = Someone from Penrtih

Coach of the Year = Elliott (bahahahaha) no serious probably Hasler.

Blackened is the End...

Your just full of confidence aren't you

Anyway for me

Premiers: Manly (they will only get better with the inclusion of players like Bailey and Lyon going to the centres)

Spoon: Tigers (Too many losses without enough good replacements)

Origin: NSW

Big improvers: Bulldogs, Cowboys

Disappointments: Roosters, Dragons (I think they will miss the 8 even with Bennett)

As for the Panthers, I feel we are still a year away from being real contenders, with that being said I think we will finish in the bottom half of the 8.
